Significant Damage Caused During Break-In At Hospital In Ballymena

Significant damage has been caused during a break-in at a hospital in Ballymena.

The break-in happened at a building on the grounds of Braid Valley Hospital on the Cushendall Road between 5.30pm on Wednesday, 07 February, and 8.20am on Thursday, 08 February.

Internal doors and computers were damaged.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are keen to hear from anyone in the local community who has witnessed unusual activity around the site in recent weeks.

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this latest incident, or anyone with any information that can assist us with our investigation, to contact detectives in Ballymena on 101."

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland

Arrest As Taxi Driver Robbed At Gunpoint
A man has been arrested after a taxi driver was struck in the face with a gun and robbed in Antrim. The incident took place at around 00.30 this morning, 18 July, when a driver collected two males and a female in the Ballymena Road area and took them to Junction One.
