Book Of Condolence For Kayden Fleck At Primary School

A book of condolence has opened after a five-year-old boy fell into a river and died in Co Antrim.

Kayden Fleck was recovered from the Braid River in Ballymena on Saturday, 10 February, in a major multi-agency operation.

He was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital where he later died.

Harryville Primary School have opened a book of condolence.

In a statement the school said: "School will be open on Monday and Tuesday from 12noon until 6pm to allow anyone from Harryville, Ballykeel and wider areas to come and sign a book of condolence for Kayden and his family. There will also be a donation box and tea/coffee available."

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. Fire At L'Derry Primary School Being Treated As Suspicious
A fire at a L'Derry primary school is believed to have been started deliberately. The fire at the Good Shepherd Primary School, in the Waterside area of the city, was reported shortly before 8pm on Wednesay night, 10 August.

Parents Encouraged To Use School Uniform Grants
Education Minister John O'Dowd has encouraged parents to take advantage of school uniform grants. The Clothing Allowance Scheme covers pupils in primary, post-primary and special schools and is similar to free school meals with regards to its eligibility criteria.
