Weather Warning For Heavy Rain Issued In NI
A yellow weather warning for heavy rain and strong winds has been issued in Northern Ireland.
The warning has been put in place from noon on Wednesday, 14 March, until noon on Thursday, 15 March.
The rain is expected to be heavy in Co Down with string easterly winds with coastal gales.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible while some flooding of roads may result in longer journey times and disruption to bus and rail services. The southeast winds may also prove an additional hazard with delays for high sided vehicles on exposed routes and delays to air and ferry transport."

£17m To Support Pensioners Affected By Winter Fuel Payment Changes
Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has announced a £17 million fund to support pensioners who have lost eligibility for the Winter Fuel Payment due to recent UK government changes. The one-off £100 payment will be automatically issued to an estimated 250,000 pensioners in around 170,000 households before the end of March 2025.

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.
