Racist Graffiti Reported In South Belfast
Graffiti depicting a hooded figure below the letters 'KKK' has appeared on a door in south Belfast.
The graffiti was discovered just off the London Road in the Ravenhill area, less than a month after so-called "Islamophobic" leaflets were distributed in the area.
Green Party representative for Lisnasharragh, Brian Smyth, shared an image of the graffiti to Twitter and reported it to Belfast City Council, who are understood to have tasked officers with removing it.
Mr Smyth said: "Racist graffiti just off the Ravenhill Rd, I've reported it to Belfast City Council in order for it to be removed immediately.
"I can't get into the mind set of whoever painted it, but it's intended to intimidate. Keep an eye out and support your neighbours. This city is for all."

Sectarian Graffiti Threatening Workers Daubed On Wall In West Belfast
The Alliance Party has hit out after sectarian graffiti threatening workers was daubed on a wall in west Belfast. The graffiti was scrawled across a wall at Millennium Way, close to the Caterpillar plant. MLA Stewart Dickson condemned the attack and said it "will not be tolerated".

Police have said the removal of threatening graffiti related to those tasked with dismantling an east Belfast bonfire is the responsibility of the property owners. It comes after Belfast City Council abandoned plans to demolish the construction on the site of Avoniel Leisure Centre when hired contractors pulled out of the job.

City Hall to become a ‘no parking zone’
Parking restrictions on the cobbled area directly in front of Belfast City Hall are being strictly enforced from next week. On Monday (October 16), work begins to install bollards, to prevent vehicles parking on the cobbles.
