A significant amount of Class A drugs have been seized in Mid Ulster.

The seizure was made following the death of a man in his thirties in the Moneymore area on Sunday, 27 May.

Police recovered the drugs, believed to be cocaine, during searches at a number of properties in the area.

The PSNI issued a drugs warning following the death, which happened at a house in the Northland Road area.

Detective Sergeant Robinson added: "I would reiterate our previous warning to anyone considering taking any kind of drug - do not do it. Do not take chances with your health, or your life."
