Suspicious Object Discovered In East Belfast
A security alert is ongoing in east Belfast.
The alert began when a suspicious object was discovered in Madrid Street at about 7am today, 28 June.
Homes in the area have been evacuated while Army Bomb Experts carry out an examination.
The street has been closed to traffic and pedestrians.

Security Alert In South Belfast Declared A Hoax
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes in south Belfast following a security alert in south Belfast. A suspicious object was thrown at a property in the Blythe Street area at around 11.30pm. Police and army technical officers attended the scene which was described as a hoax. The residents have now returned to their homes.

Pipe Bomb Found In East Belfast
A pipe bomb has been found in east Belfast overnight. A suspicious object was reported to police in Island Street at around 1.40am on Thursday. A security operation was launched and army bomb experts found declared it to be a viable bomb-type device. No homes were evacuated during the alert and the operation ended shortly before 6am.

Man Arrested Following Arson Attacks In South Belfast
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a number of arson attacks in south Belfast. Two cars were set on fire in the Joy Street area and another vehicle was set alight in Friendly Street in the early hours of Friday morning, 09 September.

Residents Evacuated In North Belfast Alert
Residents have been forced to evacuate their homes in north Belfast following a report of a suspicious object in the area. The homes in Clifton Crescent were evacuated after the report of an object in the area on Monday afternoon. An army bomb squad has been tasked to the scene and the area has been closed to traffic.
