Man Dies Following Fatal Collision On M2

The PSNI have issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the M2 motorway outside Belfast on Sunday, 22 July.

A man has died following the five-vehicle collision, which occurred on the M2 near Duncrue just before 4pm yesterday.

Three other people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the collision, but they have since been released.

The motorway was closed for approximately six hours while a forensic crash scene investigation was carried out.

Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash, and in particular anyone who might have dashcam footage of the incident, to contact the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit.
