Missing Alliance Councillor Found 'Safe And Well'

Missing Alliance councillor David Armitage has been found "safe and well" and is said to be "getting the help he needs".

Appeals were issued on social media for Mr Armitage after concerns were raised for his well-being.

Posting to her Twitter accounts, Alliance leader Naomi Long thanked everyone who helped search for Mr Armitage.

She wrote: "He has been found, is with me and getting the help he needs. All of you have proven how powerful Twitter can be and I am forever grateful."

The party also posted: "For all those searching and helping, David Armitage has been found safe and well, and is getting the help he needs. Thanks to all those who took the time to help in any way, shape or form. It's much appreciated from everyone in Alliance."

Appeal To Help Identify Man Found Dead In County Meath In 1991
Police in Ireland have issued an appeal for help in identifying a man found dead In Bracetown, County Meath, on 18th April 1991. The man is believed to have been between 45 and 55 years of age, approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height with a medium build. He had light brown hair receding on the forehead and grey on the sides, and brown eyes.

Police Appeal For Help To Identify Man Found Collapsed On Road
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was discovered lying on a road in Toome, Co Antrim on Sunday, 08 April At around 07.10pm, police received a report that a man had been discovered lying collapsed on the Roguery Road with a bicycle next to him. The man was transferred to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
