Road Closure Disrupts Travel From Belfast International Airport
Travellers heading to Belfast International Airport are being advised to leave extra time for their journey as a major road is closed for vital work to be carried out.
The Oldstone Road in Antrim, one of the main routes to the airport, is undergoing resurfacing work that will take five weeks.
The road closed on Monday 29 October and is due to reopen on 07 December.
Diversions will be in place as follows:
• Northbound: via Killed Roundabout- Ballyrobin Road- Antrim Road- Belfast Road
• Southbound: va Belfast Road- Antrim Road- Ballyrobin Road- Killed Roundabout.
The Seven Mile Straight will also be closed at its junction with the Oldstone Road from Monday 05 November to Sunday 11 November.
All diversionary routes will be clearly signed, and those travelling in the area are urged to allow plenty of additional time for journeys.

Road Closed In North Belfast Following Collision
The Ligoniel Road in north Belfast has closed following a one-vehicle collision. The road has been closed in both directions near the Wolfhill Road, according to the police. Diversions have been put in place and motorists are being advised to avoid the area. No other details have been released.
