Two Weather Warnings Issued For Wind And Rain
The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings for wind and rain in Northern Ireland over the next few days.
A yellow warning for rain comes into effect on Wednesday night, 07 November, along the east coast. Transport delays are expected.
All of Northern Ireland has been issued a yellow warning for strong winds and heavy rain on Friday, 09 November.
The Met Office has warned of a potential short term loss of power and flooding may also occur.
Journey times are also expected to be longer with a risk of flooding on roads.

Roads Service Ready For Winter Weather
Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd has confirmed that the Department's winter service team is prepared to tackle the current cold snap. Around 300 staff and 130 gritters are ready to salt main roads, while 12 snow blowers are available for deployment if necessary. Strong winds are also expected around the coast and some flooding of homes and businesses is possible. Motorists are also being warned to expect difficult driving conditions.
