Man dies in Co Tyrone house blaze

A man has died following a fire at a house in Co Tyrone at the weekend.

The man's body was found by firefighters on the first floor of the house in Mullaghfad, near Clogher on Sunday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the blaze to contact them.

Meanwhile, two fires at a chemical factory in Co Down are being treated by police as suspicious.

The fires, which were started at around 11pm on Sunday, were discovered at portable offices and in a lorry on the Hall Road in Donaghcloney.

Over 30 firefighters attended the scene of the fires which caused concern because of the risk of chemical leakage.

Offices, a lab and a canteen were also destroyed in the two fires.
