Police Appeal After Armed Robbery At Belfast Petrol Station
Police have issued an appeal following an armed robbery of a service station in Belfast.
A report was made at around 6.35pm on Tuesday 13 November that two men entered the York Street premises, one believed to be armed with a knife and the other with a pipe.
After demanding cash, they jumped over the counter and attempted to open the till before making off with a quantity of cigarettes.
It is understood that a third man remained at the door of the premises during the robbery.
The culprits then made their way up North Queen Street into Spamount Street.
Detective Sergeant Corrigan said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV covering streets in the area or anyone who was in the York Street area on Tuesday between 6.30pm and 6.50pm and saw any suspicious activity."
One male has been described as being 6'2" in height, of slim build, short dark hair, wearing tracksuit bottoms and a grey tracksuit top.
The second suspect is described as being in his 20's, 5'11" in height, of slim build wearing a dark navy hoody.
The third male is believed to be short in height and was wearing a blue hooded coat.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on non-emergency line 101.

Man Charged Following Drugs Find
A man has been charged after police seized drugs, worth a street value of between £50,000-£75,000, in Co L'Derry. Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis were discovered during search in the High Street area in Draperstown on Wednesday. A 35-year-old man has been charged with possession and cultivation of class B drugs with intent to supply.

Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in west Belfast. The man's body was discovered in the Paris Street area on Sunday night. Police said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A post-mortem is to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Robber’s gun jams during Castlewellan hold-up
During an armed robbery in a County Down shop, a 19-year-old woman has had a gun held to her head and the trigger pulled several times without the gun firing. The incident occurred when a masked man brandishing a gun burst into McAnulty’s store in Castlewellan’s main street on Wednesday March 27 around 11.20pm.
