Lorries Overturn On Larne To Cairnryan Ferry
Lorries on a boat travelling from Northern Ireland to Scotland have tipped over inside the vessel, prompting emergency services to rush to the Cairnryan port.
The incident happened at around 7.30am on Tuesday 18 December, and some passengers remain confined to their vehicles.
Police, ambulances and the fire service are dealing with the "ongoing" incident, as images from the scene show a number of vehicles tipped over on the ferry.
Operator P&O ferries said there were no reports of any injuries.
"We can confirm that an incident took place on the European Causeway this morning.
"In extreme weather conditions, a number of vehicles have moved position on the decks causing damage onboard."
Police Scotland said it had been called out to reports of the overturned vehicles.
"During a choppy sailing, there has been a movement of vehicles on the car deck and this has caused around six vehicles to tip over onto their side," it said in a statement.
"We are able to confirm all 52 passengers and 56 crew on board are safe and well and no-one has any injuries."

SF Calls For Action On NI Mental Health Services
Sinn Féin has called for more to be done to improve mental health services across the north of Ireland. The party's mental health spokesperson, MLA Órlaithí Flynn, made the call after the release of the Registrar General's 2023 Annual Report which has highlighted an increase in deaths by suicide in 2023.

As a scenic cross border transport link remains in jeopardy, a Coleraine Sinn Féin councillor has urged NI Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster to take action to save the ferry. Billy Leonard wants the DUP Minister to play her part along with other Stormont Executive colleagues to save the Magilligan ferry service to Greencastle.

Police Appeal After Woman Injured In Crash In East Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in a collision between a car and a moped in east Belfast. The crash happened in the Parkgate Avenue area at around 11.25pm on Saturday, 13 May. The woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.

Man Killed In Randalstown
The death of a man in Randalstown, Co Antrim, is being treated as murder, police have said. The man, said to be in his 60s, died following an "incident" on Caddy Road. A number of vehicles are thought are to have been involved in the incident which occurred shortly after midnight. A woman in her 50s was assaulted.
