NI Couple Win Almost £115m In EuroMillions
A couple from Northern Ireland are to go public after winning a EuroMillions jackpot of nearly £115million in the New Year's Day draw.
The lucky pair from County Armagh became the winners of the National Lottery's fourth largest prize ever, and started 2019 with a bang.
They won exactly £114,969,775.50 in the draw, and will receive their check at The Culloden Estate and Spa on Friday 04 January in a press conference, where their identity will also be revealed.
The winning main EuroMillions numbers were 01, 08, 11, 25, 28 and the winning EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 06.
The biggest ever lottery win in the UK and across Europe was more than £161m in July 2011 by Colin and Christine Weir, from Ayrshire in Scotland.
