Belfast International Airport Chaos As Passengers Queue Out The Door

Belfast International Airport has been heavily criticised today, Monday 11 March, after long security delays saw passengers queuing outside the airport in freezing conditions.

Many hopeful travellers took to social media to vent their frustration at the queues stretching beyond the main airport.

It comes in the wake of similar chaos. The facility is working to increase the number of security lanes, but this has caused them to be temporarily reduced to allow necessary works.

Passengers are advised to arrive two hours before check-in to avoid missing their flight.
