Shots Fired At Co Tyrone House
Police are appealing for information after shots were fired at a house in County Tyrone early this morning, Monday 01 July.
A house in Loughview Gardens, Coalisland, was targeted just after 4am.
Six people in the house at the time were uninjured.
Detective Sergeant Paul Robinson said: "We are working to establish a motive for this appalling attack and I want to reassure the community we are taking what happened this morning very seriously and I am appealing to anyone with information to please get in touch with us.
"In particular, I want to appeal to anyone who saw any person/persons acting suspiciously, or any cars being driven in a suspicious manner between 4am and 4:10am in the area to call detectives on 101 quoting reference number 202 of 1/07/19."

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.

Man Extradited From US Over Historical Child Sex Abuse
A 68-year-old man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for a series of indecent assaults on a child in the 1970s. Damien Desmond Anderson, originally from L'Derry, was extradited from the US to face justice. He was convicted of 12 counts of indecent assault against a female who was 11 years old at the time of the abuse.

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
