Police Probe 'Loud Bang' In Co Antrim

Police in County Antrim are investigating after a "loud bang" was reported in the village of Cushendall.

Officers were called to Mill Street late on Wednesday night, 03 July.

Damage was caused to the door of a property and two cars parked nearby.

Houses on Bridge Street and Mill street can currently only be accessed at the front, and the Mill Street car park has been cordoned off while enquiries are carried out.

Anyone with information on the incident or who saw anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact police on non-emergency line 101, quoting reference 2334 of 03/07/19. Details can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.

Man Charged Following Drugs Find
A man has been charged after police seized drugs, worth a street value of between £50,000-£75,000, in Co L'Derry. Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis were discovered during search in the High Street area in Draperstown on Wednesday. Appeal For Information On Series Of Burglaries In Ballymena
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following reports of a number of burglaries in Ballymena overnight. Police have said that sometime between 8pm on Monday 30th January and shortly after 3:40am on Tuesday 31st January, it was reported that entry was gained to a commercial premises in the Mill Street area.

Death Of Man In West Belfast Not Being Treated As Suspicious
Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in west Belfast. The man's body was discovered in the Paris Street area on Sunday night. Police said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A post-mortem is to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Tennent Street Bomb Alert Over
A security alert in north Belfast sparked by the discovery of a suspicious object under a car has been declared a hoax. Army bomb experts examined the suspicious package which was found underneath a car close to Tennent Street police station on Monday after several homes were evacuated during the alert.
