Two women treated for smoke inhalation

Two women have been treated for smoke inhalation following an arson attack at a house in Co Londonderry.

The incident occurred at the house in Gortfoyle Place at around 9.15pm on Wednesday.

The women were returning to the house when they saw the fire. It is believed they re-entered the house to look for a third person but became trapped.

Most of the house was left with smoke damage while a room at the back had scorch damage.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact them.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Antrim house fire 'suspicious'
Police are treating a house fire in Antrim as suspicious. Emergency services were called to a house fire at Mallusk Gardens at 00:50am. Extensive damage was caused to the living room and there was smoke damage to the property. No one was in the house at the time.
