Sydenham Bypass Collision Causing Long Delays
Belfast city-bound motorists travelling from Bangor and Holywood are advised to avoid the Sydenham Bypass this afternoon, Friday 04 October, following a collision.
Four cars are understood to have been involved in the crash, which occurred outside the entrance to Belfast City Airport.
Police said the slip road to the airport is closed to traffic.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route and allow extra time for their journey.

Traffic Disruption Expected During Obama Visit
Commuters driving to Belfast on Monday morning have been advised to allow extra time to complete their journey or to use public transport to reduce congestion, during a visit by US President Barrack Obama. Roads Minister Danny Kennedy said disruption would be expected for several hours as a result.

Snow Falls Cripple Transport
With as much as 10 centimetres (4") of snow falling across the eastern part of Northern Ireland this morning - especially in east Antrim, Belfast and Co Down - disruption to road transport and flights has been extensive. Belfast City Airport halted all services for a time, even though its efforts to clear the runway were successful.
