West Belfast Firms Damaged By Arson
A number of businesses in west Belfast have been substantially damaged by fire.
Police are treating the blaze in the Kennedy Way area on Sunday morning, 03 November, as arson.
Fire crews were tackling the blaze shortly before 1am as it spread to at least three businesses in the vicinity.
Detective Inspector Tom Phillips said: "This has been a despicable attack which will undoubtedly have a severe impact on the businesses affected."
Kennedy Way was closed for a time but later reopened.
Anyone who was in the area and witnessed suspicious activity or may have captured relevant footage on their dash cam is urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference 95 of 03/11/19. Details can also be provided to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.

An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

Pair Charged With Arson Over West Belfast Blaze
Detectives investigating a blaze that damaged a row of businesses in west Belfast earlier this month have charged two individuals. The 32 year-old man and 27 year-old woman were detained on suspicion of arson in Lisburn yesterday morning, Thursday 14 November. Both have been charged with arson.

Woman Dies Following Fire In West Belfast
A woman who was in a critical condition in hospital after being injured in a house fire in west Belfast has died, according to the police. The accidental blaze broke out in the kitchen of an apartment at Ardnaclowney House just off Beechmount Avenue shortly before 4pm on Sunday, 05 February.
