Elderly Man Burgled In Ballymena
An elderly man has been left shaken after three masked men burgled his house in Ballymena, Co Antrim.
Police said the incident occurred at around 6.45pm on Waring Street on Tuesday evening, 12 November.
Three masked men wearing dark clothing forced open the door of the man's home and made their way through the house before running off in the direction of Moat Road.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The occupant is very shaken up by the incident and we are extremely grateful for how members of the community have rallied around him this evening.
"If you have any information, please contact Police and quote reference number CC1566 of 12/11/19. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with any information relating to this."

Man questioned about 1988 murder
A man has been arrested in connection with police inquiries into a murder in 1988. The body of Lily Smyth, 66, was found in her flat at Moveen House in Dunmurry on October 9, 1988. The pensioner had been strangled. A police spokesperson said that a 43-year-old man had been arrested and is being questioned at Antrim Police Station.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

Shootings Probed
There have been two shootings – one on either side of the border - over the last few days, most recently when a men and a woman escaped serious injury after shots were fired at a house in Coleraine, County Londonderry. Two shots were fired into the living room and a bedroom of a house at Ashdale in the Harpur's Hill area on Sunday evening.
