Intruder Disturbed In Co Fermanagh Home
Occupants of a house in the border village of Belleeks, Co Fermanagh returned to find an intruder in their home over the weekend.
The burglary was foiled on Saturday evening, 30 November and police are appealing for witnesses.
Detective Constable Strawbridge said: "We received a report at 8pm that approximately five minutes earlier the occupants of a house in Rocorn arrived home to find a male intruder in their property.
"When disturbed the suspect, who had forced entry to the house, ran off."
The man, who had his face covered, is described as being around 6' tall and of a slim build. He wore dark clothing during the burglary.
While no one was injured, it is unclear at this time if anything has been stolen.
Anyone who was in the area on Saturday evening and saw any suspicious activity or a male matching the description is urged to contact detectives on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference 1482 of 30/11/19.

Fire Service Lowers 'People At Risk' Age To 50 And Older
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) has lowered the age group of those deemed most at risk from accidental house fires to people aged 50 and older. It follows the death of 19 people in the last three years, 17 of which were aged over 50. Nine of the victims were aged 50-59 and a further eight were 60 and above.
