Pair Charged Over Dungannon Petrol Bomb Attack

Detectives investigating an attack on a house in Co Tyrone have charged two males, one of whom is a teenager, with arson.

The pair, aged 15 and 34, will appear at Omagh Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 11 February.

It comes after a house in the Killymaddy Hill area of Dungannon was targeted on Sunday. A petrol bomb was launched at a property and a garden bench used to ram the front door before a second device was launched inside the house.

A man, woman, a young child and a baby were inside at the time. Police said it is fortunate no one was injured.

The two males are charged with a range of offences including arson, possessing a petrol bomb and throwing a petrol bomb.
