Met Office Issues Further Ice Warning

A further weather warning for ice has been issued by the Met Office.

Following a stormy weekend and heavy snowfall in parts on Monday, the yellow ice warning will take affect at 8pm this evening and continue until 10am tomorrow.

It comes as further wintry showers are expected with icy patches leading to possible hazardous travel.

Some roads and railways will likely be affected, leading to longer journey times by car, bus and train.

There will also be an increased chance of injuries and accidents on icy pavements and cycle paths.
