Child Dies & Baby Injured In Larne Incident

A child has died and a baby and woman have been injured following an incident in Co Antrim.

Police and emergency services established a presence at a house on the rural Bankhhall Road outside Ballycarry on Monday morning, where it's reported a stabbing had taken place.

The woman, aged in her 30s, and a baby were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating and say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
