Teenage Girl Found Safe And Well
A 14-year-old girl has been found safe and well after police issued a child security alert.
An 18-year-old male has been arrested and is currently being detained in custody.
The teenage girl was found in the Belfast area and has been reunited with her family.
Gardai said in a statement: "We would like to thank the public, media and other agencies for assistance provided during this alert. No further media action is required at this time."

Missing Teen Found Safe And Well In Dublin
A missing teenage girl has been found safe and well, according to the police. Chloe Osborne from Belfast was last seen in Dublin on Sunday, 05 November. Her family and the PSNI appealed for information to try and trace her. She was found in the Dublin area on Thursday, 09 November. Gardai and the police thanked the public for their assistance.

A teenage girl has been found dead, and another girl unconscious, in a field near Lifford in County Donegal. The alarm was raised at around 10am, when police received a call that two girls were lying in a field in Ballindrait, two miles away from Lifford.

Limavady Girl Found Dead Is Named
Rural Limavady is reeling today with news of the violent death of a young girl in the town. PSNI detectives are investigating the death of the 17-year-old, whose body was found in the Blackburn Path area of the town, at about 10.30pm on Wednesday night. The girl has been named locally as Wendy McAteer.

A teenage girl who was found dead in a field near Lifford in County Donegal, is thought to have taken a lethal mixture of vodka and morphine tablets. The body of Geraldine Chambers, 14, was found at around 10am on Monday morning, when police received a call that two girls were lying in a field in Ballindrait, two miles away from Lifford.

A 15-year-old girl who had been missing from 05 September has been found safe and well. Leigh Arundel from Cork was seen on the Antrim Road in north Belfast earlier this week. Leigh, who was believed to be with an older man, was last seen at a train station in Cork at around 12.45pm.
