Foster To Leave DUP When She Steps Down As First Minister Of NI
Arlene Foster is to leave the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) when she steps down as First Minister of Northern Ireland.
She also said that if new party leader Edwin Poots appoints a new ministerial team on Tuesday, she will step down immediately as first minister. She previously said she would leave the role at the end of June.
Speaking to reporters as she visited pupils at Banbridge Academy, Mrs Foster was asked what she will do if Mr Poots unveils his team on Tuesday.
“If Edwin decides that he wants to change that team, I will have to go as well because I can’t stay with a new ministerial team of which I have no authority, and that would be wrong.”

Parents Of School Boy Bomb Victim Ask McGuinness For Answers
Parents of a boy, killed when he set of an IRA bomb left in garden, have alleged that Northern Ireland’s Deputy First Minister knows who was involved. The bomb which was left in the garden of a home in Londonderry in 1973 was triggered by schoolboy Gordon Gallagher. The nine-year-old died as result of the bomb.

Environment Minister Must Consider National Park - Lo
Alliance Environment spokesperson Anna Lo has called for newly-appointed Environment Minister Mark H Durkan to consider the option of establishing a national park in Northern Ireland. "I was very disappointed by the efforts of the former Environment Minister Alex Attwood to the establishment of a national park in Northern Ireland," Ms Lo said.
