Barry's Amusement Arcade In Portrush Sold
The iconic Barry's amusement arcade in Portrush has been sold.
The Trufelli family issued a statement saying the entertainment complex will now close.
The statement said: "The Trufelli family wish to confirm that the Barry’s property has been sold and the business will now close.
"We wish to thank all our loyal full-time and seasonal employees for their patience and understanding during the sale process, and for the key role they played in making Barry’s such a special place for the generations of people who visited us over the years.
"As a family, we understand what a special place Barry's held in many peoples’ hearts for almost a century.
"We hope you cherish your memories as much as we do."

Barry's Amusements in Portrush is to be sold as a going concern, its owners have announced. The amusement park has been an iconic feature of the North Coast since it first opened in 1926. Barry's is a family run business owned by the Trufellis, who released a statement on Friday after informing their staff.

More than 500 farm family members and employees have attended First Aid Awareness training since March 2018, as part of the Farm Family Key Skills (FFKS) scheme. Up to 100 accidents which need medical attention occur each month on Northern Ireland farms.
