Three Women Attacked In Armed Robbery In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an armed robbery at a salon in south Belfast.
Two men, armed with a knife and a baseball, entered the salon on the Lisburn Road at about 7:40pm on Sunday 20 February. A woman in the salon was reportedly assaulted by the man armed with the baseball bat, while the man with the knife demanded money from a second woman. It is understood that a third woman escaped the building through a first floor window.
There were no reports of any serious injuries, but all three women are said to have been left "badly shaken" by the incident.
The men fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed sum of money. They are said to have made off into the Sandy Row area.
The man with the knife was described as wearing a blue coat, grey trousers, navy trainers and a grey hat.
The man armed with the baseball bat is said to have been wearing a burgundy coat, a green hooded top, a grey hat and grey trousers.
Anyone with any information about the incident – especially any drivers in the area at the time who might have dashcam footage – is urged to contact police.

Armed Robbery At L'Derry Shop
Detectives in L'Derry are appealing for information following an armed robbery that on the evening of Saturday 11 January in the Park Avenue area. At about 20:40, two males entered a commercial premises and demanded money. One of the robbers was armed with a wheel brace. The pair made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Upper Nassau Street.

Armed Burglar Threatens Man In East Belfast
An armed burglar has threatened a man at his home in east Belfast. The thief held a knife to the man's throat after he returned to his home in the Trillick Street area at around 9pm on Tuesday. The man disturbed the intruder as he was ransacking his house. He threatened him with a knife and fled from the scene. The man was not injured.

Investigation Launched Following Carjacking In South Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following a carjacking in south Belfast on Tuesday, 19 April. The owner of a Smart car was threatened by a man, after parking the vehicle at around 10pm in Stockmans Lane, and told to hand over his keys. The man made off in the vehicle in the direction of the motorway.

Three men, armed with a handgun, knife and baseball bat threatened a man and woman outside the premises on the Old Dundonald Road shortly after 4 pm.

Two men, armed with a hammer and a knife, threatened a staff member and demanded money. The suspects, believed to be in their late teens, made off with a sum of cash.
