Appeal For Information On L'Derry Assault
The PSNI in L'Derry have issued an appeal for information as part of an investigation into an incident in the city last night (9th May) during which it was reported a man was assaulted and sustained facial injuries.
Shortly before midnight, it was reported that three men entered a property in Lower Nassau Street and assaulted the male occupant, aged 45-years old. The victim was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Detective Inspector Finlay said: "This incident is being investigated as an aggravated burglary, and we are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch with us. We're also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area between 11:50pm and midnight, and who may have seen a number of males in the area acting suspiciously to contact us."

Appeal For Information On Newry Security Alert
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a security alert in Newry on Monday, 01 January. The alert began when it was reported to police that a suspicious object had been left in the Drumgullion Avenue area at around 2.50pm. A number of homes in the area were evacuated as officers conducted a public safety operation in the area.

Fresh Appeal For Information On Strabane Car Thefts
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for information as they continue to investigate the theft of two vehicles n Strabane earlier this month. A purple BMW M4, registration number R50 0LAN, was reported stolen from Mourne Manor in the town shortly before 9am on 4th March, however, detectives believe it was taken several hours earlier, at around 3am.

Appeal For Information On 'Vicious And Nasty' Assault In L'Derry
The PSNI in L'Derry have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a woman was assaulted when she attempted to break up a fight. Police have reported that at around 6.15pm on Wednesday 03 May the woman had tried to break up a fight between two men on Foyle Street in the city when she was kicked by one of the men.
