Man Arrested Following Two Stabbing Incidents In Belfast
A 27-year-old man has been arrested following two stabbing incidents in Belfast city centre.
The injuries to both victims are not believed to be life-threatening.
Inspector Donna McGrady said police were alerted at about 1.15am by a member of the public on Bedford Street to a fight going on in the area.
She said: "Police attended and found a male with several stab wounds to his head and chest.
"He was brought to hospital by colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. It was then reported that the man with the knife made off in the direction of Amelia Street where he stabbed a second man.
"Police attended and the injured party received treatment from ambulance crew for a wound to his upper chest.
"The injuries of both men are not considered to be life-threatening at this stage.
"We have made an arrest in connection with this and enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything, or has any information which could assist, to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 162 of 02/07/22."

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.
