Two Arrested Following Attempted Theft At A Business In Larne
Two people have been arrested after an attempted theft at a business in Larne.
The incident occurred in the Shanes Hill Road area of Kilwaughter on Thursday.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police stopped a vehicle nearby and a quantity of fuel drums, funnels, and a battery pack were located inside it.
"One male and a juvenile were arrested on suspicion of a number of related offences, including theft, attempted theft, criminal damage and motoring offences.
"Both remain in police custody at this time."
The investigation is ongoing.

Four people have been arrested following an attempted ATM theft from a service station in east Belfast this morning, Friday 17 May. Officers cordoned off an area at a shop on the Gilnahirk Road as enquiries continue. The men, aged 30, 33, 37 and 41 are currently in custody assisting police with the investigation.

Two men have been arrested following an attempted theft in L’Derry on Sunday, 02 October. A knife was also ecovered. Police received a report of an attempted theft involving two men at a shop in the area at around 1.45pm. At 4.50pm, two men matching the description of the suspects were seen in the area.

Man Arrested In Connection With Fuel Theft
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of diesel theft from a property in the Ballymagorry area of Strabane last night, Tuesday, 11th October. The arrest followed the report of alleged diesel theft from an address on Ballyheather Road shortly after 10pm where a red Berlingo van was also found at the address and abandoned.
