Investigation Launches After Man Shot In Crossmaglen
Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot in the neck and arm in Crossmaglen.
The incident happened in the Ballsmill Road area.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A report was received at around 6.30am today, Monday 4 September that a man had been shot in the arm and the neck.
"He has been taken to hospital to receive medical treatment.
"A number of road closures are in place as the investigation is underway.
"Anyone who may have any information which may assist is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 253 of 04/09/23.
"Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Man Arrested In L'Derry
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in L'Derry. Officers from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation unit carried out a search at a property in connection with an ongoing on Wednesday, 04 November. A number of items were seized for further examination. The man was taken to be questioned, however he has now been released.

An investigation has launched after a man was shot multiple times in his legs in L'Derry. The shooting occurred at a house in the Whitethorn Drive area on Thursday, 15 April, just before 11pm. The victim was shot a number of times in his legs after two men forced their way into the house. The man is currently receiving hospital treatment.

Murder Investigation Launched Into Disappearance Of Damien Heagney
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have launched a murder investigation into the disappearance of 47-year-old Damien Heagney from Cookstown. Mr Heagney was reported missing on Tuesday 19 July and police have said that they are "keeping an open mind" they now believe that he has been murdered.
