Seven injured in road collision

Seven people from Northern Ireland have been involved in a road traffic collision in the Republic.

Two cars were involved in the crash which occurred outside Carrigart in Co Donegal at around 2.30pm on Sunday.

One of those injured in the accident has been transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and is in a critical condition. The rest of those injured, all believed to hail from Omagh and Londonderry, are being treated in Letterkenny hospital.

No other information is available at present.

Arrest In Fatal Fermanagh Crash
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an accident in County Fermanagh in which a teenager died and two men were critically injured. A 17-year-old youth died and six others were injured following the accident, which happened at around 4.20pm on Monday on the A4 near Brookeborough.

Men Killed In Fermanagh Road Collision
An 18 and a 22-year-old man have been killed in a road collision on Sunday afternoon in Fermanagh. The men were travelling in a car on the Pettigo Road when the crash happened at about 16:30. The road remained closed on Sunday night.

Road accident leaves one man dead and two injured
An accident on the Portaferry Road near Newtownards has left a 20-year old man dead and two others in hospital. One of the injured has been taken into intensive care at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, while the other is stable at Dundonald's Ulster Hospital. None of those involved in the accident had been named on Friday afternoon.

Seven injured in car accident
Seven people have been injured following a road traffic collision in east Belfast on Thursday. The collision, which involved a car and a van, occurred on the Dunlady Road in Craigantlet just before 1pm.

One injured in road crash in Newry
One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on the Rathfriland Road, Newry. The victim is believed to be have suspected concussion and facial injuries. The accident occurred at around 7.30am this morning. The incident involved two vehicles, and the road was closed in both directions.
