Appeal Following Serious Collision In Gilford
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Banbridge Road, Gilford on Saturday 9th March.
Just after 10.50pm, it was reported that two vehicles had collided on the road between Lawrencetown and Gilford. Officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which may be life-changing. The second driver suffered injuries which, at this time, are not thought to be serious.
No other persons were in the vehicles at the time of the collision.
Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon local policing Inspector Tate said: "We would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision last night who may have seen the vehicles involved, a black Ford Fiesta and a red Hyundai I20 Sport, to contact police.
"We would particularly appeal to anyone who may have dashcam or other footage available.
"Please contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1665 of 09/03/24.
"Alternatively, you can make a report online at www.psni.police.uk/report"

A man remains in a critical condition in hospital following a serious road traffic collision on the A8, outside Larne, on Saturday, 21 October. The PSNI, along with other emergency services colleagues, responded to a report of a collision shortly after 3pm. A small blue car and tractor were involved in the crash, just outside Ballynure village.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Drumquin. At approximately 7.50pm last night, Monday, 29th July, police recevied a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a black 2024 Suzuki S-Cross on the Dooish Road.
