Couple escape injury in arson attack
A Co Down couple have escaped injury following a petrol bomb attack at their home in Moira, Co Down.
It is believed that three petrol bombs were thrown at the house shortly after 1.20am this morning.
The couple, who were in bed at the time, escaped unhurt. Some damage was caused to their front door and a car.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen three youths running away from the house at the time of the attack to contact them.
Elsewhere, a bookmaker's office on Belfast's Sandy Row has been damaged in an arson attack.
The building was extensively damaged in the fire which started in the early hours of this morning.
No one was injured in the blaze.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Couple escape in East Belfast petrol bomb attack
Two people have escaped injury after a petrol bomb was thrown at their East Belfast house in the early hours of this morning. The couple were in their house, on Uniondale Street, when the device was thrown in through a front window. While both escaped injury in the attack, their house was extensively damaged in the fire.

Couple escape injury in pipe bomb attack
A young couple have escaped injury in a pipe bomb attack in east Belfast early this morning. The incident occurred at around 2.20am when the couple were woken by a large explosion outside their house in Cheviot Avenue. The front window was blown in and parts of the device were also found in the garden and street.

The bomb hit the front door of the house and shattered a pane of glass however the couple, who were in the house at the time, were left shaken but uninjured.

Three children have escaped injury after shots were fired through a window at a house in Belfast. The attack happened at a property on Norglen Parade at around 1.30am on Monday, 03 July. Two adults were also in the house when shots were fired through the living room window. No one was injured.
