Appeal After Man Found Seriously Injured In L'Derry
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the discovery of a man with serious injuries in Sackville Street, L'Derry on Friday 6th September.
At approximately 9pm, officers along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance service attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Detective Inspector Connolly said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the injuries and I am appealing to anyone who was in the Sackville Street or Strand Road area at the time and witnessed anything or to anyone with CCTV, dash cam or other footage that could assist enquiries to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1606 06/09/2024."
Alternatively a report can be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/

Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant McCartan said: "It was reported that sometime between 1am and 2am, a man, aged in his twenties, was assaulted by three men in the Beersbridge Road area.
