Police fire warning shots during Kilrea disturbance
A number of warning shots were fired into the air by police responding to a disturbance in Kilrea, Co Londonderry, during the early hours of yesterday morning.
A fracas involving two groups broke out in The Diamond area of the town shortly after 2am, with an estimated 60 people involved. One arrest was made after officers moved in to quell the disturbance.
Several people received head injuries during the incident, though none were life-threatening. A number of people were taken to hospital. There were no injuries to police.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police injured during Westlink disturbance

Body Recovered From Belfast Harbour
Rescuers have recovered a body from the water at Belfast Harbour. Formal identification of the body will not be made until a post-mortem examination is carried out, however it is believed that the body is that of a man who went missing "a number of weeks ago".
