Man Arrested Following L'Derry Stabbing Incident
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the Foyle Street area of L'Derry on Sunday, 13 October.
The incident took place shortly after 1:40 AM when a 27-year-old man was stabbed multiple times inside a local shop. He sustained injuries to his left shoulder and lower back, which were not deemed life-threatening. The assailant fled the scene on foot towards the Shipquay Street area. Following an investigation, police arrested the 24-year-old suspect on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, and theft. He is currently in police custody.
Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, the incident is being treated as a racially motivated hate crime. Police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 154 13/10/24. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. Two Arrested Following Stabbing Incident in Killyleagh
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the Sloane Crescent area of Killyleagh on Monday evening, October 14th. Police responded to a report at approximately 11:30pm, indicating that a man and a woman had entered a property and engaged in an altercation.

Two men die in separate stabbing incidents
Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Newtownards on Saturday, 16 September. A man, aged in his 40s, is being treated in hospital after he was deliberately struck by a car in the Old Shore Road area of the town, at around 11:45pm. His injuries are said to be serious but not life threatening.
