Major Incident Public Portal Open In John George Disappearance
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is assisting Spanish authorities in their search for a 37-year-old Belfast man who went missing while on holiday.
John George, also known as John Hardy, was reported missing on 18th December. It is understood that he was last in contact with his family in Belfast on 14 December.
The PSNI has been in close contact with the family of the missing man and has appointed dedicated Family Liaison Officers to provide support during this difficult time.
While the investigation is being led by Spanish police, the PSNI has offered assistance and will support any local enquiries as requested.
The PSNI have asked anyone who believes they may have information which could assist the Spanish Investigation Team with their investigation to contact us on 101. Any photographs or footage, including CCTV, mobile phone or dash cam footage, can be shared with the Police Service of Northern Ireland through the Major Incident Public Portal at mipp.police.uk/operation/PSNI24T24-PO1 and that information will be forwarded to Spanish Police.
A report can also be made using the online reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport or alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A body found in Spain is believed to be missing Belfast man, John George. The 37-yea-old father-of-two, also known as John Hardy, was on holiday in Alicante when he was reported missing by his family on 18 December when he failed to make his flight home. PSNI To Work With Spanish Police Following Death Of Alan Drennan
The PSNI is working with Spanish police following the death of Alan Drennan. Mr Drennan, 21, from Newtownabbey, was found dead in his hotel room in Ibiza on Sunday. PSNI Superintendent Kevin Geddes said: "Detectives from Serious Crime Branch are aware of the death of Alan Drennan in Ibiza and will be speaking with his family.

Supporters of a Basque man living in Belfast - the Belfast Basque Solidarity Committee - has called for the case against Inaki de Juana Chaos to be dropped. The Spanish prosecution service want to see Inaki de Juana Chaos returned to Spain to face charges, as they said the 53-year-old has praised or supported terrorism in a letter read at a rally.

Investigation Launched After Teen Dies Suddenly In Portadown
Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a 15-year-old girl. Officers received reports that the teenager was unconscious in the Corcain area of Portadown on Saturday, 20 May. She was taken to hospital, however she died a short time later. Police confirmed a "possible link to drugs".
