Seven Arrested Following Disorder Incident In Belfast
Five men and two 17-year-old males have been arrested in connection with a public disorder incident in the Broadway area of Belfast in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 26th January.
Shortly after 12.30am, police received a report that a group of men were throwing flares and masonry.
Officers attended the scene and arrested five men aged 31, 27, 23, 22, 21, and two males aged 17 on suspicion of riotous behaviour.
Commenting on the arrests, West Belfast Chief Inspector Claire Hamilton said: "This type of behaviour causes fear within our communities. Whilst we are thankful that no members of the public or Police Officers were injured during this incident, this kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
"We will continue to work alongside our partner agencies, local representatives and the community to take action and provide a visible policing presence in the area and I would encourage you to report incidents of anti-social behaviour.
"We all have a responsibility to help make where we live safer for everyone. Reporting crimes or incidents that impact on your quality of life helps focus our patrols where they are needed and take positive action. Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.

Two men have been arrested in relation to an alleged shooting in Bangor. It is believed that no-one was injured and the report came from the Springhill area on Wednesday. Police said the incident involved an off-duty police officer. The A2 Belfast Road into Bangor has been closed from Rathgael Road. Police are continuing with their investigations.
