Arrest Made In Coalisland Shooting Investigation
Detectives investigating a shooting in the Coalisland area on Wednesday, 30 October, 2024, have arrested a suspect.
The incident involved a man in his 40s who sustained a gunshot wound to his arm after being shot through his car window.
"Detectives who are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding what happened, arrested a 30-year-old man in the Moira area on Sunday afternoon, 26th January," Detective Inspector Ryan said.
“He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and was taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
The suspect has since been released on bail while detectives continue their investigation.
"In November 2024, two other men, aged 34 and 43, were charged with firearm-related offences connected to this investigation," Detective Inspector Ryan added.
The PSNI continues to appeal for information from the public. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is urged to contact PSNI on 101, quoting reference number 1369 30/10/24.
Alternatively, reports can be submitted online at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

Mr McAlorum was gunned down outside a primary school in Derriaghy on 03 June 2004. The 55-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act in Belfast by the PSNI's Major Investigation Team on Tuesday 17 September.

Man Charged In East Belfast UVF Investigation
Detectives investigating the criminal activities of the east Belfast UVF have charged a man with a drug related offence. The 57 year-old will appear at Laganside Court on 12 December on the charge of possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
