GRAHAM Completes Multi-Million-Pound Fit-Out Of BT's New Dundee Office

GRAHAM, the Co. Down-based construction company, has completed the multi-million-pound fit-out of BT's new office in Dundee.

The telecom giant has relocated from its long-time premises on Ward Road, where it had been based since 1976, to a modern five-storey office at 2 Greenmarket, located in the heart of the city centre and close to the waterfront.

Designed by architect HAUS Collective, the state-of-the-art office space is part of the city's wider regeneration efforts. It features bespoke elements aimed at enhancing employee wellness, including communal and collaborative areas, a games room, and an in-house coffee shop, fostering a vibrant and flexible work environment.

The 76,000 sq. ft building includes sustainable features, such as a self-vegetating 'brown roof', where plants grow from seeds carried by the wind or dropped by birds. Two electric vehicle charging points are also available for staff, who are encouraged to use active travel methods to commute, with on-site shower rooms and clothes drying facilities provided.

Daniel Chesney, Strategic Development Director for Interior Fit-Out at GRAHAM, said: "BT's new Dundee HQ is a truly exceptional office environment. By prioritising sustainability and the health and wellbeing of its staff, BT has created a space which not only reflects modern ways of working but also emphasises that an office is more than just a place to work.

"Having partnered with BT for over four years to deliver high-specification fit-out works, GRAHAM is proud to continue supporting the business as it makes significant investments in key towns and cities across the UK."
