Man Dies Following Serious Assault In Dungannon
Police have confirmed the death of a man following a reported serious assault in the Corrainey Park area of Dungannon on Thursday, 27 February.
Detective Chief Inspector Phillips stated: "Shortly after 8pm, it was reported that a man was found with serious injuries at a flat in the area. Police attended, but sadly the man passed away as a result of his injuries. The Corrainey Park is currently closed as officers conduct further enquiries in the area. Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1576 27/02/25. Information can also be provided to police online at or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, anonymously and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

Youths Charged With Maghera Murder
Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of Piotr Krowka in Maghera earlier this year. The body of the 36-year-old Polish national, who was homeless at the time, was found in a derelict building on the Glen Road on Tuesday 03 April. Mr Krowka had suffered serious injuries to his head and body.

Four People Stabbed In Co Down
Four people have been injured in a stabbing attack in Co Down. The incident happened at a house in the Queens Park area of Saintfield at around 3.40am on Sunday, 11 March. A woman sustained serious injuries and is receiving hospital treatment. Three men were also taken to hospital to be treated.

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information after a man was left with serious head injuries following an attack in the city yesterday morning. Two assailants attacked the man in Sackville Street shortly after 2.30am on Tuesday morning.
