PSNI Appeal For Information Following Burglary In Castlereagh

Detectives are appealing for information after a burglary occurred this morning, Tuesday, 24 June 2025, in the Ballylenaghan Road area of Castlereagh.

Detective Inspector Keon stated: "Shortly before 11:30 BST, we received a report that masked suspects had poured an accelerant through the letter box of a residential property. On attendance, it was clear that the house had been ransacked, and windows had been broken."

Police are currently working to establish if anything has been taken from the property. The suspects were seen making off in a white estate car.

“An investigation is underway, and we are appealing to anyone with any information which might assist us to get in touch,” Detective Inspector Keon added.

Appeal For Information On 'Nasty' Robbery In Omagh
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a "nasty" robbery in Omagh. Police received a report, that at around 1.30am on Monday, 19th February a man aged in his in his 40s was cycling in the Cranny Road area of the town, alongside the river, when he was set upon by a group of six people, dressed in dark clothing with hoods up.

PSNI Issue Appeal On Ballygowan Arson Attack
Detectives are appealing for information after three cars were destroyed in an arson attack in The Brae area of Ballygowan on Sunday evening, January 26th. Police received a report from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service shortly before midnight that the vehicles had been engulfed in flames.

Appeal For Information On West Belfast Burglary
Detectives in Belfast are appealing for information after a burglary in the Crocus Street area. Police said the incident occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and 12.55am on Monday, December 9th. The homeowners returned to find their home ransacked. A watch, personal belongings, and a sum of cash were stolen.
