Rosie's Trust Offers Charity Places For 2026 TCS London Marathon

For the first time in its history, Rosie's Trust has secured two coveted charity places for the upcoming TCS London Marathon in 2026.

As the organisation marks its 10th anniversary of caring for people by caring for their pets, this presents a unique opportunity for two supporters to participate in one of the world's most renowned long-distance races.

By joining ‘Team Rosie's Trust', participants' fundraising efforts will directly contribute to the charity's vital work: helping cancer patients, individuals receiving end-of-life care, and older people with mobility issues across Northern Ireland to keep their beloved companion pets by their side. Prospective runners wishing to be considered for a place will need to commit to raising a minimum of £2,500.

Nuala Muldoon, Fundraising and Engagement Lead at Rosie's Trust, highlighted the significance of the opportunity: "The London Marathon is not just a race – it's a powerful platform for causes like ours. By running for Rosie's Trust, you will be helping us to ensure that our beneficiaries and their pets can stay together when they need each other the most."

Ms Muldoon added: "As a keen runner myself, I know what a fantastic opportunity this is for someone who is passionate about our cause and wants to challenge themselves in what is set to be a very special event."

Rosie's Trust, founded in 2015, stands as the only charity in Northern Ireland specifically dedicated to supporting cancer patients, those in end-of-life care, and older individuals with mobility issues by ensuring they can retain the companionship of their pets.

Individuals interested in learning more about running for Rosie's Trust in the London Marathon 2026, and who are confident in their ability to commit to both the extensive training and fundraising requirements, are encouraged to get in touch via mail@rosiestrust.org.
