Daughter of Enniskillen bomb victim meets with police
A relative of one of those killed in the Enniskillen Poppy Day bombing 17 years ago has met senior police officers to discuss the ongoing investigation into the tragedy.
Aileen Quinton, who lost her mother Alberta in the bomb, met with detectives to discuss the IRA atrocity which killed 11 people and injured a further 63 on November 8 1987.
Following the meeting, Ms Quinton said she was glad the meeting had taken place adding that it had "kick-started a process" to put the atrocity back in the spotlight.
"We have had very little information from the police about anything that may or may not have been done at that time, or even since," she said.
"So, I am just trying to look for some answers, because it still matters. And people, I think, have actually forgotten that nobody was brought to justice for the Enniskillen bomb."
Ms Quinton was accompanied to the meeting by DUP assembly member Arlene Foster.
