Man suffers serious head wounds in attack
Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured during an assault in north Belfast on Tuesday.
The man, who suffered serious wounds to the head, was found at a house in Kinnard Street off the Antrim Road at around 4am.
Police say they are following a definite line of inquiry and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the attack to contact them.

Man Stabbed In West Belfast
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in west Belfast. The attack happened in the Hawthorn Street area at around 1.40pm on Thursday. The victim is believed to be in his 30s. A section of Hawthorn Street was closed and police examined the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Lisburn man dies following vicious beating
A man who was left with serious head injuries following a vicious attack in Lisburn last night has died in hospital. James McMahon, 21, was attacked by three masked men in Lisburn at around 10.30pm on Thursday. The victim suffered serious head injuries after being beaten with baseball bats during the assault at Hancock Street in the city centre.

Youths Charged With Maghera Murder
Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of Piotr Krowka in Maghera earlier this year. The body of the 36-year-old Polish national, who was homeless at the time, was found in a derelict building on the Glen Road on Tuesday 03 April. Mr Krowka had suffered serious injuries to his head and body.
