Family treated for shock following break-in
A couple and their three teenage sons have been treated for shock after masked men broke into their Co Londonderry home last night.
The incident occurred at the family's home in Main Street, Castledawson, at around 11.30pm when the three men forced their way into the house and demanded money.
One of the men fired a stun gun at the father before plunging one of the sons into a bath of water. The whole of the family were then tied up and locked in the attic as the men fled in what is believed to be a car or van.
The father and son who were attacked have been treated for minor injuries while the remainder of the family were treated for severe shock.

Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Men treated for shock after south Belfast robbery
Two men have been treated for shock after being kidnapped during a robbery in south Belfast today. Almost £10,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen during the incident shortly before lunchtime when the men were bundled into the back of a van in University Street as they made a delivery to a hotel.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Family treated for shock after shooting
A family of six were suffering from shock last night after gunshots were fired into a house in County Armagh. Up to five shots were fired through the kitchen window of a house in the Enniskeen area of Craigavon at around 10.40pm. Two kitchen windows were shattered and a wall was peppered with shotgun pellets.
