Family treated for shock after shooting
A family of six were suffering from shock last night after gunshots were fired into a house in County Armagh.
Up to five shots were fired through the kitchen window of a house in the Enniskeen area of Craigavon at around 10.40pm. Two kitchen windows were shattered and a wall was peppered with shotgun pellets. A 41-year-old man received cuts to his wrist from flying glass.
The man, his wife and four children, ranging from three to 13 years of age, were all treated for shock following the incident.
Elsewhere, two men, aged 37 and 38, have been arrested after a handgun and several rounds of ammunition were recovered when police stopped a car in the Newtownabbey area yesterday. The vehicle was stopped at the junction of Glenville Road and Shore Road.
In north Belfast, a pipe bomb and materials used in the construction of pipe bombs have been found. The items, which were in a holdall and hidden in bushes, were found by youths in Grove Park at around 9pm last night.
Police have urged anyone with information in relation to these incidents to contact detectives.

Investigation Launched Into Fatal Stabbing In L'Derry
Two men remain in police custody following a fatal stabbing in L'Derry in the early hours of Sunday, 04 March. Karol Kelly, 35, was stabbed to death during a fight involving a group of men in Grafton Street, Rosemount, at about 2.40 am. Two men, aged 19 and 20, remain in custody. Pensioner Dies In Co Down Road Collision

Pedestrian Geoffrey Cartwright, 78, died following a one vehicle crash on south Promenade in Newcastle just before 11pm on Thursday, 24 August. An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit and dangerous driving causing death. He has been released on bail.

Police have named a man who was fatally stabbed in Belfast. Hazem Ahmed Ghreir was attacked in the Downshire Place area in Belfast on Sunday, 04 June. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned at Musgrave Police Station.

Man Held As Seaside Shooting Victim Dies
A woman has been fatally injured in a seaside shooting incident. The PSNI are investigating after the woman was shot at premises near the promenade in the normally quiet town of Portstewart. The victim was initially described as being seriously injured, but has since died.

Two pensioners treated for shock following separate burglaries
Two disabled pensioners have been treated for shock following separate burglaries in Belfast on Thursday night. In the first incident three men entered a house at St James Parade in west Belfast at around 10.20pm and forced a man in his 70’s into a chair while they ransacked the property.
